Liverpool transfer news: Paulo Dybala and Jack Butland deals discussed by Sky Sports man

LIVERPOOL won’t be swooping for Paulo Dybala this summer - but a deal for Jack Butland could go through.

Liverpool have been linked with the Argentina ace following Cristiano Ronaldo’s mega-money arrival at Juventus from Real Madrid.
Juve need to sell off some star talent to help balance the books after splashing out on a mega fee and wage packet for the Portugual - and Dybala is one of their most highly-valued assets.
But Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth doesn’t think Liverpool in a viable destination.
He said on the latest episode of the Transfer Talk podcast: “Paulo Dybala, I can’t see him coming in from Juventus. I can’t see Juventus selling him.”

“Liverpool could get Jack Butland but a deal for Paulo Dybala is unlikely”
Landing Stoke and England goalkeeper Jack Butland is a more likely transfer, according to Sheth.
He added: “Jack Butland is an interesting one, he’s in the England squad as No.2 to Jordan Pickford.
“If he wants to be No.1 in the England squad in the future he has to be playing in the top league – not the Championship with Stoke.

“The longer the window goes on, there’s the potential maybe that Jack Butland could be on the move.
“I don’t want to disappoint any Stoke City fans, they have already released Lee Grant to Manchester United, Jack Butland could be one. Keep an eye on it.”
Liverpool have until 5pm on August 9 to complete all their summer purchases but can continue to sell players abroad past that date.
